Back Home

Back in South Africa. For a while already actually. Just been quietly coming to terms with barbed wire fences, high walls, parking lots and shopping malls, and sleeping next to a revolver at night (I must say, quite peacefully actually). I like the silhoette and the reflections in the windows at night, when clutching the long barrelled revolver, creeping down the stairs to see why the dogs are barking so alarmingly.

Anyway. Back home for now. For the past few weeks I have also been dealing with the dull pain of having lost all my photos. (The same happened after the Africa trip). But good news - I tracked them down a few days ago to Flavia's in Goa, India. It's just a matter now of somehow getting them to me.

That's all for now.

Sarita and myself are fixing up a Beetle that has been parked for three years at the back of her house. I am still waiting for my Enfield to arrive, and I have been to the shooting range with my brother. And I am absolutely loving the Jacarandas in bloom!
