My Man

The next day I slipped the guy at the Sheraton some bills (his hands were quite lubricated already I'm sure, judging by his "professionalism" of receiving the money), and spent the day at the pool swimming and reading The Moor's Last Sigh. One of the residents was an older German guy, and he had himself a young African lady in a g-string and braces on her teeth. They got on quite well playing and teasing and squirting cream on each other, and illicited several headshakes and smiles from "my man".

Caught a forty hour train ride (which took most of half a day to get a ticket on an "emergency quota" - and to glimpse into the shelves and filing cabinets and piles of papers and office workers of the Indian Railways.) It was air-conditioned - which is most definetly the way forward for long journeys (Sarita pioneered this on her journey back to Bombay from Varanasi).

Met a lovely young Indian lady, who spent most of her trip texting friends back in Delhi, and who was visiting her parents in Poone. She called the cook at home to organize me some bland food (I still have my Delhi Belly), and when she got off at Poone, the cook was there and gave me a very delicious meal which I ate on my way to Goa, which is where I am now. Still on the platform actually, killing time, as I need to organize train tickets to get back to Bombay - and if possible - a ticket to near Poone, as she invited me to her parents house, and possibly even organize a ride in a tank, as her dad is a high ranking officer in the military. I am very certain, though, that the military will not allow a flyguy like me to sit behind the wheel of an armoured and dangerous vehicle, pointing my turret wherever I please.

Anyway - off to Palolem, in the South of Goa, to lie on the beach for ten days or so, and to have a much needed shower.

(Just checked with the owner of the Internet Cafe whether the connection is back, and discovered that he was viewing some black and white porn on his computer, two guys giving each .... anyway. Interesting).
